The Italian Cup finally took its regular path and in 1936-37, following the scheme of the previous edition, this exciting tournament was the prerogative of Genoa 1893. The Ligurian rossoblù team, after nine championships, was able to enter its name also in the roll of honor of the second most prestigious Italian football competition.
